Nutrition + Meal Planning
Gut health is the really the foundation for whole body health. Food is information and everything that we put into our bodies has a positive or negative effect. The food we put into our bodies can fuel healing, decrease inflammation, and provide the necessary nutrients for optimal functioning. Or, some foods can trigger inflammation, disrupt our hormones, cause blood sugar dysregulation, and actually rob us of needed nutrients.
Hormones and Gut Health
Surprisingly, our hormone health is really dependent on our gut health. We need a healthy gut to properly absorb the nutrients needed for adequate hormone production then get rid of any excess hormones or byproducts. However, the gut also acts as a barrier between us and the outside world.
Below you will find some of my favorite meal plans to make healthy eating quick, easy, and tasty! The Mediterranean diet provides the perfect foundation for most of us. However, sometimes we may need modifications. That’s why I’ve included specific diet plans for gluten free, dairy free, and more.
